We spoke with the city of Edinburg's engineering department in order to get a better understanding of what our robot would need in order to be able to function without to much interuptions while in the pipes. They also gave us some resources to be able to understand how much distance the robot will have to cover in between the manhole covers as well as how often we would come into contact with 90 degree turns. According to the city of Edinburg's engineering department, the average distance between each manhole cover is about 400ft and the 90 degree turns would appear at resedential areas and at big intersections.
